Can we trust others?

In life we have to try to trust others. I hold on to the concept that people can be trusted with certain reservations until there is proof that they are not trustworthy or are dependable. I used to trust other people without question but now I do not completely trust a person. We should be consistent in our outlook. So if one person says the other person is a cheat I would not completely believe the first person. Maybe the first person has an unjustifiable grudge against the second person who may be innocent. I would approach the second person with caution. Normally the level of trust that I give to other people remains the same even after the first time the person is caught cheating. In most cases I give a person two chances. After the third consecutive incident the person loses all the trust that I have for him or her. Note that I used the word 'consecutive'. Humans are infallible and sometimes we err. But consecutive similar acts indicate premeditation. all the best, rosdimy

You can trust others; but you ought not to trust blindly. First get to know the person well. And then trust. However, even while trusting, be ready for people to betray. I dunno why; but people are quite unpredictable sometimes. Cheers and happy Mylotting

In China, there is a proverb :" time reveals a person's heart". Maybe the world is full of cheats and dwindlers, but I still think there are some beautiful and perfact things. So do not disheartenment. I trust my best friends, because we through the test of time, our friendship is firmly, they care about me, and I care about them. Why not trust others? In the society, interpersonal trust is very important. And friendship constitute society relationship. Don't refuse any friends since once cheat. There are so many people care about you!!

Yes, that's so difficult for us to find some persons we can trust. I think before you think one person you can trust, you should try to realize him or her as more as possible. That's difficult, I think the best way is talking with him or her, though the talking, you can realize his(her) real characters, and then, after a long times, you will know what kind of people he(she) is, so you can decide this person you can trust or not.

Just do not be so upset, man. If the world is really the one you discribed, it will not last for so long time, am I right? And though there are many cheats even some of your relatives will trick you, have you noticed that the most of them were friendly to you and would lent you a hand whenever you were in trouble?
