Today is camodad's birthday and I feel really bad that I wasn't able to get him a gift so.....I'm asking that everyone please help me wish him a very happy 27th birthday today (12/23/08). His birthday is 2 days before Christmas, Think about it....it's gotta suck, 2 days before the biggest holiday of the year. He gets jipped every year because of Christmas. I kind of know how he feels because mine is the day before Valentine's day, I've always gotten a 2 in 1 gift and he gets the same every year. Let's try to make today a good one for him. Do you know anyone that has a birthday super close to another holiday? How do you think they feel about it?

I strongly suggest you start having "half-birthdays" for him in June. Invite everyone over for a birthday party and if they don't know better, don't enlighten them. Then he can have a quiet thing with you at this time of year and not get it mixed up with Christmas nonsense. Not that Christmas is nonsense, just not when its mixed up with another birthday....

I just want to say that my neice's birthday is Jan 4th and she said this year that she wants us to know that she really appreciates that we make a difference between her birthday and Christmas unlike in the other side of the family, most notably one uncle and aunt. Let us also say that at one point, in front of her at a much youger age, this same uncle told her mom that she was just so wrong to have had a child when they didn't. I honestly don't know how 2 such spoiled adults could be allowed to adopt a child! She does have a good aunt and uncle on that side of the family, so I don't really know what happened with that one uncle/aunt and her mom... oh, probably shouldn't bad mouth her mom.....

That's nice that she appreciates what people do for her and that she know's the difference. I feel bad for people that have to put up with family members like that. I hope you all have a nice Christmas and she has a nice birthday.

Happy Birtday Camodad I hope you have a wonderful day and many more to come. Tell him don'dt worry about it being closed to Christmas, it is nice to be born in the month of December, it is a time when everyone wants to celebrate and is in the giving mood. He may benefit from that because when they are out buying gifts they will think oh it's Camodad's birthday, so lets get him a birthday gift. Well it sound good to me. Merry Christmas Camomom & Camodad

Sorry to respond this discussion so late... Happy Birthday to camodad! I think you can offer him a much better gift than money can buy, if you catch my drift ... Well, my mother's birthday is the same day as our country's national day, and I also had a classmate who was born on Christmas.

I do know.... I feel bad for people that share their birthdays with holidays. We should all have our own day.

Happy B-lated Birthday to Camodad. Sorry I missed the actual day. My brother in law shares the same birthday with him. Yes he says that he really hates it as well and he always felt really ripped off because people would not get him presents when he was a child because Christmas was always a couple of days later and they would just wait. I know that has got to stink for people with that birthday, mine is on September 11, so I know all about bad birthdays.

I'll pass it along to him. That is a bad day to have a birthday, I'm sorry. I think I'd rather share mine with a holiday then Sept. 11. Sorry, I know that didn't make you feel ny better about it. Sometimes I just say stupid things.

My uncles birthday is on Christmas. I think it was a real drag for him growing up. Not only did he get less presents, but the other kids kind of resented him for being the center of attention on Christmas Day. My dad said the day his brother was born was the worst Christmas ever. He remembers his parents rushing off to the hospital the night before, and Santa didn't even lay the presents out. He eventually found them in the closet of all places.... Santa must have been at the hospital paying attention to the new baby... just like everyone else.

Happy belated birthday Camodad . That's great you were born 2 days before Jesus was. I got a friend in Junior High School whose birthday is August 17. On the day, we in my country celebrate our Independence Day. So, yeah, practically all people in my country always celebrate his birthday. How lucky he is
