Cell Phone VS Bible

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we flipped through it several time a day? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to Kids as gifts? What if we used it when we traveled? What if we used it in case of emergency? This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible? Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Makes you stop and think "where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!

Regardless of what my beliefs are & where I put my faith in, it's nice to see some people still live by their faith... I happened to agree with you but it's not about trying to convince others to follow my faith but to see any beliefs at all... So many people take their faith very lightly or at their convinience... It's nice to see someone stand by their faith no matter what...

Thank you, I think you comment is very kind. I am not one to judge anybody, but I thought this was inspiring, and probably made many people consider their lifestyles. My hope was for this to be a positive post, so I am glad you enjoyed the message.

Thank you for your enthusiasim! And you are very welcome, a friend of mine actually shared this with me, and I thought MyLot would be the appropriate place to pass this idea along. I am very glad you enjoyed it, and maybe something like this will make people stop and think for just a min, about how they treat there very own Bible. Anyways, thank you again ~Happy Holidays~

Jess, this is wonderful! People seem to have their cell phones attached to their ears, but they rarely, if ever, open a Bible. I hope you have a blessed Christmas as we celebrate the birth of our Savior!

Right. I don't own a bible and don't plan on purchasing one. As far as cell phone vs. bible, one of those things I need and the other I am living much happier without.
