Did you know that people who are rigid and stiff will have very stiff thumbs which will hardly bend backwards. Their nature is seen by the way a thumb bends backwards. People whose thumbs bend backwards easily are the most adaptable people who can adept themselves in any situation. What type are you.

I think being able to bend the thumb backwards is more of something within the bones of the thumb itself. It's usually genetic. As far as being able to adapt in any situation, it's hard to say how much I can adapt since I'm still too young to tell. So far, I've been able to adapt myself to every good or bad situation that comes my way.

That is very interesting. I have never looked at it or thought about it that way before. Thanks for enlightening us.

I don't respond easily to change. I suppose you could say that I have rigid thumbs as well as thoughts. I do think about things and once I am convinced of a course of action then I go for it without letup until it is done. Cheers!!

Good for you. Its always nice to be one track and prove your mettle. However, being adaptable is always nice, for then we can get along with so many people without treding on anybodys toes.

Hell with thumb bending, who cares, so long as we are adaptable in life. By bending the thumb backwards, I meant from the joint in the centre.

Haha, maybe in your youth you must have been a vary adeptable person and it changed over a period of time. Well now you must have become a rigid person, set in your views and ideas.

I can hardly bend my thumb backwards. But I'm not a rigid. If I can realize my fault
I try to rectify that.I don't feel ashamed to cmpromise.I think there is no relation between one's character and bending of thumbs.

Good heavens, that must be really great. i dont know of many who can do that. Not beaing able to b end your thumb backwards means rigidity. Are you really rigid in your nature. Good luck.
