When I was in college i did have troubles in fact i'm still having some troubles, but my fin. aide department was very helpful. I would also check out scholarship sites like fastweb which was already mentioned. Scholarships.com is another good site to check out. File your FAFSA which will help you get state/federal grants as well as work study.

Have you considered applying for scholarships through www.fastweb.com? The application takes awhile but then they email you scholarships that only apply to you.
