Breakfast for Christmas dinner!!!!

Well I was just wondering if anyone had breakfast for Christmas dinner. I did. At Mary's(my stepdad's Mom) we were suppose to be there at 10. Of course, that meant that everyone finally arrived about 12. But we had breakfast. Ira(my stepdad's Dad) can only eat breakfast. He can have as much food as he wants at breakfast but for the rest of the day all he can have is corn flakes. That would be rough. I usually never even eat breakfast or lunch. Usually I just eat supper. But I was just wondering if anyone else here had breakfast for their big Christmas get together meal. And if you did is there a story behind it or a tradition? Personally the breakfast meal was very good. Especially being as though we had three other meals to attend that were the normal.

My family normally eats Christmas dinner around 2 or 3 pm, so I don't really eat anything for breakfast. I guess the breakfast worked out well for you guys then since you had other dinners to get to.

year before last now i cooked a big breakfast instead of a regular meal & everybody seemed to enjoy it. my kids get tired of eating tuekey & dressing a bunch of times during the christmas season so i did that year. this year they wanted to come christmas eve instead of christmas day so i made lasagna. that was alot easier than the traditional meal. happy new year!
