My daughters father had her all day yesterday (December 26th) for Christmas with his family. She came home with a whole bunch of stuff. Her dad said she was getting a few things from him, but his family must have gotten her gifts too. He did not say who got her what. (Not that it matters.) I was not expecting her to come back with so much stuff. All in all she had quite a haul.
Do people in your life ever surprise you around this time of year?

I think this time of the year I get surprised by a lot of people around me, I think this time of the year brings the good out in a lot of people, I just wish they could stay like it all year round instead of the niceness only being a once a year things..it is a good time of the year..

It surprised me that the first Christmas my husband and I were married my sister-in-law bought my husband and I a gift. She and I do not get along, but I am civil towards her because she is family. I was surprised when she came over to the house and brought us a gift.
I think it is nice that your husband's family bought your daughter gifts. It made her feel like she is wanted.
