If you want traffic, you need to make sure that your hub is about something that people are interested in, and that's it's well written and informative. You also need to write a lot of hubs, so that if someone finds one and likes it, they will check out your others. Writing one hub on hubpages is like writing one article on Associated Content or Helium, or one of the other writing sites. Nothing's going to happen.
