Do you shop with debit card or by cash?

I like shopping with my debit card unless I know I'm going to need cash. I think if my purse get stolen it's alot easier to call and have my card canceled and have money left as for me to be out and waiting for the criminal to be caught and be out my money anyway. I sometimes have problems with keeping up with the receipts but I bank online so I can see what transactions I'm missing.

i hardly ever have cash on me, i find i spend it too quickly so im definitely a debit person!! i have unlimited purchases with my debit card through my bank, i changed it to that because thats all i use

I shop with a debit card. I don't like carrying cash on me and avoid it whenever I can. I worry about having my purse stolen and losing any of the cash I have on me. I could always call the bank to stop my card from being used, but cash? That would most likely be gone with the thief. Plus, whenever someone begs for money I can always answer honestly and say I don't have any cash on me. Even though I'm not rich I always seem to attract beggars.

I normally keep a little bit of cash on my just in case I am somewhere that does not take debit cards or their machine is not working. I use my PayPal debit card more than anything though.

we use our debit card all the time so we dont have to carry cash.. our debit card can be used as a credit card so if the place takes credit card it will take our debit card which is nice so no pin entering.. when ever we have cash we lose it so its best to not even try to do things with it

Nice question here is not any card system because our peoples believe its very easy to stolen & cheat with cards so we use only hard cash. have a nice day.

Between a debit cars and cash I prefer to use cash. Most purchases I would rather use a credit card because if there is a problem then I can stop the charge (dispute it) and not be responsible for it as opposed to a debit card when your money has already been taken out of your account.

I use a little bit of both. Sometimes I'll use the cash in my purse. Sometimes, I'll use my bankcard. It's all in the same anyway.

I use my debit card most of the time. I don't have cash on me very often. Both my husband and my paycheck are direct deposit into our checking account so if I want cash I have to go to an atm to get some so it is easier just to use the debit card that is already in my purse.

I prefer cash, because in my city, not every supermarket can support debit cards. Of course, when I have to buy some expensive goods like electric appliance, debit cards is my priority. Because you don't have to carry a pile of money with you due to safety and convenience.
