We love a spice by Mortons called Natures Seasonings. The local big chain of markets didn't have it no matter wich location we went to when we ran out. Would you belive it took abt 2 months to find it on the store shelves!!?!?!? In between time we tried a few other brands and it seemed like they didn't cut it! It seemed like we had to use 2x as much to get anything somewhat close as a result in flavor. Is there any spices you cook with a lot that you've used for years?

My favorite pre-made spice combination is actually one I was introduced to about a month and a half ago, it is called Spike. It has a little bit of everything in it, LITERALLY!!I was working part time at this little hole in a wall cafe for a couple weeks, I actually quit there because I did not like the area the cafe was in....but anyway, they put this spice in EVERYTHING. So the one day I decided to try it, and it was amazing. It provides almost a spicy Italian type flavor to the food. This particular seasoning literally has every spice in it you can think of. The seasoning is not easy to find. I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the only place I can find it here is in an area of the city called the Strip district. The strip district basically is an area of the city that contains a bunch of stores of different ethnic backgrounds. It is cheap to purchase, but hard to find.

My dad loves that stuff. He actually puts it on his pizza. He just sprinkles some on top. I use something similar. It is called Herbamare. It tastes very similar. It is organic and has: Sea Salt, celery leaves, leek, watercress, garden cress, onions, chives, parsley, lovage, garlic, basil, marjoram, rosemary, thyme and kelp(with trace iodine). http://www.outletnutrition.com/021718412053.html
