There's so much in the world at this time that's terribly serious, I'm not sure we shouldn't make a category for issues that are not serious at all! We could all use more laughs, and let the world situation take care of being serious! Can we lighten up without being total airheads?

I sure could use a little laugh once in a while. Without one the world is a very scary place. Thank you.

If we don't increase our giggle factors, the mean old world could overwhelm us!

I agree, we can't handle the world's problems, there are so many people who are making or stealing the big bucks, let them run it, they have so far.. I think that we need to let them continue doing so, they aren't doing a very good job of it, but we can't stop them now, so I say ignore them, do the best you can in your own little part of the world and enjoy life, even laugh at it if you have to.. I have been about to have a stroke about my utility bill doubling this month, but I can't see any way out of paying it, so they get the money and I hope I can forgive them for taking such a big chunk of my money and go on with my life.. I resolve to try to laugh at life more this year and hope I don't end up in an institution while doing so, but that could be fun also, so here's to a better year for all of us.. A Happy Healthy and Prosperous year..

You really need a break! Have a look at myklj999's link. You probably won't be able to avoid at least a little chuckle, and that's so important!

This year was too serious for me. It was the life living horror. I want not to be serious at all. I want to play, have fun and enjoy my life....

Things around us are much too serious. Each of us needs much more laughter in life! It just might be the only way to cope!

Hey Cobra, I think that should be possible. I know since I got Dexter, my whole world has lightened up. This little cutie makes me laugh like I haven't laughed in a long, long time. There is this thing about puppies and kitties that make you want to watch every thing they do because they are babies experiencing the world for the first time. Just the way he will stop chewing on one of his little toys and look up at me just because I'm looking at him, is precious. I've never had a puppy that strews his toys all over the place like Dexter does, just like a child, only I have to pick them up with pleasure. He hates baths!! I was so hoping he would just look forward to them.Jokes on me. Hubby is still trying to warm up to him. There is something about those big shoes that really scare him. I can't help but wonder.. But he's warming up to him slowly but surely. Anyone who really wants a puppy or kitten, should do it. Just remember about the training and house breaking. those aren't as much fun. but if you need laughter and companionship, there is no better way. Hugsss leenie

Very true! The world is almost bleeding today. And that's why it is all the more relevant to understand the importance of a hearty laugh. Think about all the good that have around and not just mull over the bad that's grabbing all the headlines in leading medias around the world today.

Have a few extra giggles today, and every day, and things will be better in spite of the efforts at gloom and doom!
