Do You Have A "Bucket List"?

I watched the movie with "The Bucket List" several months ago. It was fantastic. It was about two guys that were diagnosed with terminal cancer. It was hard to watch as hubby has terminal cancer. The men both made a list of things they wanted to do before they died. They called it their "bucket list". So, do you have a bucket list and what is on your bucket list?

That is an awesome movie! I would love to make a bucket list. I think sometimes we take for granted the time we have on this earth. We should all make a list and start "living" some dreams. Maybe then there wouldnt be any " I should haves". I actually watched this movie yesturday. It always makes me think.

Mo I just take each day as it comes, I have never wanted much, I'm more interested in what I do with what I have and where I am.

no I dont and didnt. we took one day at a time and am hoping he did all he wanted to before he passed away. It so hard to watch them fade away but all you can do is make things go as smoothly as possible! hugs and blessings

It is a beautiful movie and quite touching. I don't have a bucket list yet, though thankfully, I think it would be pretty short as I've done a lot of things I've set out to do. It's the sort of movie that makes you think about what's really important to you in life and sort of makes you reflect on yourself as a person. I wish you and your husband both the best.

I don't have a list so to say, but there are a couple of things I would like to do, or at least want to go to to visit. I want to see the Eifel Tower, and I want to go to Italy, and Austraia. I don't have desire to sky dive (well maybe a tiny touch), or to do anything really dangerous, but there are some places I would like to see before I die. I am very, very sorry about your husband.

Send my blessings to your husband and hope he can do as much as he is able to do ,for as long as he can, with someone like you beside him he is a lucky man.No I don't have a bucket list as such but there are a few things like travel to a few countries and spend a day without my boy moaning and groaning ,but I suppose I am lucky he is here to show me the way and put me right when I go wrong,it will soon be the sixth of jan and he can go back to school, bless him.Happy New Year.xx

I just learned about the Bucket List from an old friend I found on Facebook. I had not heard of it before and I have not made my list yet. She has a list, though, and recently crossed something off of it. It was pretty cool to experience this through her. I may have to go look for that movie now. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. Has he thought about doing something like that list?

no I don't really have a bucket list, I just live one day at a time now, being disabled, there are so many things that I cannot do before like I was able to do in the past so no bucket list for me.

The movie was great. I do have a bucket list and many things that I want to do before the end. Many of mine are about traveling and seeing places more then anything. I hope I can do it. I try to treat each day as though it may be the last because you never know. Happy New Years!

No, I don't. i watched the movie and they had a really good list. If I made a bucket list right now it would be super long. I think I'm too young to die, so I'll just live my life and do the things I want to do before I make a list. I don't even have a family yet! So if I make a list now, it would just change as time passes by because I may want to go bungee jumping now but now in 10 years.

Yes, I saw that movie before and it is going to be shown on tv again I think within this week. I find that movie really very nice. The other guy made the bucket list and the other one by accident read it and said they should do it together. It was a tear-jerker.;-)I don't have a bucket list. I am happy to live a simple life. As long as my family is healthy I am happy and contented with that.;-)

I have a thread similar to this. Only mine encourages people to have a "bucket list" as it's called here, instead of New Years Resolutions. I do have a list that I started in 2008. Some of the items one there and some new ones too: Dance with My Daddy one more time. Learn to play the fiddle. Ride in a hot air balloon. Become financially independent from employers. Become a grandmother. Parasail. Write a book. and more... It seems that Resolutions are a set up for failure, giving us a mental time line. I prefer the idea of these types of lists, things you can add and also check off as you complete them. There isn't a way to fail with these lists and I hope everyone develops their own.
