It is getting harder and harder to make ends meet for a lot of people out there. It seems right when things start getting better, we are thrown another horrible time. The company my husband works for recently let go about half of its staff and rumor has it more are going to go in a month or so. How are any of us to survive. It is getting hard for people to even buy groceries, and if you aren't buying from them it puts them out of business making a couple hundred more people that loose their jobs. I am hoping that 2009 Brings easier times, and that a new president might help us out of this mess. I don't think it can get much worse, or at least I don't want to think about it. Tell me your views on the situation. Do you have high hopes for 2009?

Financial hardships are definately becoming more and more frequent right now. I think that we are all being tested. I believe that if we hold strong to our faith and use our inner strength to find the solutions, we will all come out of this financial hardship on top. If we lie down and let it take control of our lives so completely, we will surely end up miserable. Even though times are getting tougher all of the time, we need to be thankful for what we do have.
