the movie concerns me a bit.....

Brendan Fraser as Mo? Paul Bettany as Dustfinger? Andy Serkis as Capricorn? None of these actors fit and that concerns me. The film adaptation of The Thief Lord was really good and I had really high expectations for Inkheart but ..... wow, the casting.... especially Brendan Fraser. *shudder*

I know you wrote this a very long time ago, but I'd like to say that I enjoyed the movie. It was only an okay adaptation of the novel, but I thought it was fun. The casting never bothered me, but then again it rarely does when it comes to book to film adaptations. I care more about the plot and that the characters are IN character than I do about how they look.
So did you ever see the movie? What did you think of it?
