Have you seen the Fisher-Price Nativity Set?

We bought a toy nativity set made my Fisher Price to put under our tree this year instead of our normal nativity set. This is because this year we have a one-year-old and he likes to touch everything. These pieces are made so that children can play with them and no harm done. So we'll use it for maybe a couple of years.

I haven't gone to a toy store in a awhile but I did see it online at Toys R US. I think this is a great thing. Some people want to have a natvitiy set but have small kids. This way they can have the set out and if the kids play with it - no big deal. Too bad they don't make one that is pet friendly!

I hope you are right! We have 2 cats and we got them after Christmas this year. I know we can't have a tree (which I am fine with, we babrely have room for our stuff in our apartment) and I don't nornally decorate much. for Halloween I hung skeleton garland on our mantle and they were always trying to take it down. They didn't bother the other decorations though. I am interested to see what they will try with the stockings.

You're right about that. I have a dog, too. My dog has never been interested in bothering any of the Christmas stuff, or any of my son's toys either, so I hope she's as indifferent to this.

I have seen pictures of it, but never in person. I have a almost 5 year old and a 2 year old and also do childcare in my home - so it probably wouldn't be a bad idea for me to look into puchasing one of these also. They do look cool!

Yes, go to Walmart or a toy store and take a look at it. It's very cute!

I've never seen or heard of them, but wow! I should get them. My Grandmother has an insane collection of Christmas items for a huge village and all of these other crazy decorations. My cats jump all over the place, so this year we might not set up the village. The toy nativity set might actually work, since clearly they won't break.

If you haven't seen it, you really have to! I found mine at Walmart. If you're going there, look for it in the toy aisle, and if it's not there, ask an employee to help you find it. At least take a look - it's really cute.

Well, I hope you like it when you see it. Congratulations on your new baby. My son was born in Sept of '05, so he's really active now.
