I am! We're not best friends like we were when we were really young, but we still try to keep in touch today. It's nice knowing you can be friends with someone for such a long time, don't you all agree?

Hello vanonas. My first best friend was my college classmate, but we have already lost contact with each other ever since he got married decades ago, a time when tele-communications was not as convenient as what we are enjoying today. But anyway I still remember my first best friend's appearance back then.

It was over long ago with my first best friend because we were very young then and as we grew older and went to different schools we drift apart and eventually no contact whatsoever. However i'm still in touch with a friend from when we were 12 yrs old. So it's been 7 plus years now since we met. Must be a good feeling to be literally "best friends forever" :)

I still keep in touch with my best freind from when I was growning up. We vacation together, our kids know each other. She moved to another state when I was about 7 or so, but we always kept in touch and have had a lot of fun together!!!

Hi vanonas, First best friend when I was in Elementary, we were 3 and last time I talked to them was like 10 years ago, I have no more contact but everytime we will see each other, we still talked like we were before but time and distance made a lot of changes in our friendship! MY high school best friend, we've never met after our High school grad but luckily, we met at friendster and have a constant communication! We are both happy!

Oh yes! :) I met my best friend when we were in second grade. We are now in third year, college. So I guess that makes ten years of friendship. :) It is really nice to know someone for a long time, to see each other grow, go through puberty as you, go to each other's debuts. See all the guys that come and go, even. Those stuff and other deeper stuff. :)

Yes, I am! I actually have 2 best friends from childhood. I met them when we were all 4 years old. We are 40 now! One of my friends is a man, the other is a woman. I am so incredibly lucky to have them both as my friends for all these years! Treasure your friendships....they make life sweet!

the first Best Friend that i remember was Andrea. i really dont know what grade we met each other in. but i do know that we were friends for a number of years before she left. the last time i saw her was probably when i was about 13 years old. her family moved half-way across the country. her father got a much better job out there or something, i dont remember. i remember being totally depressed for months. and we tried the i'll call or i'll write thing, but being 13 years old that never really lasts beyond a letter or two lol! huh..its been 21 years since ive seen or spoken with her. i dont even remember her last name anymore. havent had a friend since then that i would consider a "Best Friend".

I am still really good friends with all of the folks that were good friends growing up. Our relationships come in waves now, since we don't have school throwing us together daily. We have our own lives now, but we still get together, babysit each other's kids and talk on the phone. Its really nice to have friends that have been around since you were little. No one really understands who you are better then those people who have seen you grow up! My friendships have survived military duty, failed marriages, successful marriages, college, children, and a whole lot of moving around the country. I've had the same core group of friends since I was about 3. :)

Hi there! I am very glad that I am still friends with my first best friends. She was our neighbor when we were still a baby. She is just one year older than me. Although we already transferred house when I was eight years old, our friendship did not fade. Now, she will be one of the godparents of my son who will be baptized this January. She was very happy for me when I got pregnant and she was even more happier when I gave birth. She is really one best friend!

I am not still friends with my first best friend. We were very young when we became friends, and I think we both grew out of the relationship. I moved away, and we did not stay in contact. I think this was mostly on my part, but I did not want to continue the friendship. She was moving in a bad direction with her life, and I wanted no part of it. I guess that I should have given her more of a chance as a friend. I think that sometimes, we change too much to continue a friendship. This was the case with my first best friend, and is the reason we are no longer friends.
