A new Jack Sparrow?!

Heard a rumour that disney are going to be starring Zac Efron (HSM fame) alongside johnny Depp in POC4, with a view to him becoming the next Jack Sparrow! Anyone else heard this? They can't be serious, surely. Johnny Depp IS Jack Sparrow. Next they'll be telling us that POC4 is going to be a musical!

I cannot imagine anyone other than Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. Personally, i think Depp's twist on Jack Sparrow is what makes the movies. Change the personality of Sparrow & I think the PoC movies will flop. I have absolutely NOTHING against Zach...just don't see him giving the same twisted character that makes Depp's Sparrow so endearing!!! Of course I have been wrong before. I couldn't imagine anybody replacing Sean Connery as James Bond either. Oh yeah, the Bond movies have a real plot to them!!!

no one can replace johnny depp as jack sparrow.no one!!!!!zac efron is a fine young man but can't come close to the charm of the much older johnny depp..maybe zac may be given another role in an upcoming pirate movie but definitely not to replace johnny depp..it's even tough for him to replace orlando bloom..all the more johnny depp!!!!

Evern i have heard this rumor some where dude.But i dont feel it could be ture because Johhny deep is the best character in the movive serie..plus i dont think ther eis ny subsitute for him in the movie....MYLOT

So would this little twirp be replacing Orlando Bloom? Is Disney even thinking this through?
