How can we live peaceful life in this world?

First of all there will never be total peace in this world so we have to find peace within ourselves. I think we have to find peace in our religion no matter what that is and follow the teachings of that religion. I do not mean the radical part of that religion. Some times I feel you have to fight for what is right and you cannot avoid the fight. The ones how cannot fight fore themselves need someone to stand and fight for them. If fighting is in the form of a sit in, picketing, taking someone to court, or even fighting.

I found this passage would be a good guide for us: Romans 12:17-21 (The Message Translation) "Don't hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you've got it in you, get along with everybody. Don't insist on getting even; that's not for you to do. "I'll do the judging," says God. "I'll take care of it." Our Scriptures tell us that if you see your enemy hungry, go buy that person lunch, or if he's thirsty, get him a drink. Your generosity will surprise him with goodness. Don't let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good." What do you think?

It is hard to live during hard times. But I have found that if I just continue being kind and helpful to others, I generally get the same in return. I concentrate on the positive and not the negative in life, at least I try to.

The answer is very simple: live the way of God. If we all lived the way of God, there would be total peace. Unfortunately, there are several interpretations to "the way of God" as advanced by the religionists. For instance, while Jesus enjoined his followers to "turn the other cheek" when slapped, the Qur'an says "attack them back if they attack you first" - but do not attack first. The two teachings are not necessarily conflicting, since both seem to frown at attacking another person at all. However, the Qur'anic version tends to give legitimacy to counter-attacks ... in self defence. Maybe if the Qur'an also asked people to "turn the other cheek", there would be no violence in the world, except from the unbelievers, who are a minority. The true solution is to abandon the religions, which are artificial creations anyway. If we embrace LOVE as the only way of God, there will be no more struggles, selfishness, oppressions, wars and violence. God is love; let us embrace Him for peace to reign.
