Sunsets and sunrises

Who enjoys them? I do, pretty thoroughly actually. I will admit I am getting fairly bored of the typical sunsets that occur in my area, but I do enjoy watching them occasionally. I particularly enjoy them out on the ocean, to tell the truth. Its a strange experience. Especially for someone who is not from an area by the ocean. How do you feel about them?

I do agree entirely. The sunsets around here have been pretty dull, and nothing extrordinary. Though the sunsets/sunrises are alot nicer at the beach and seem more pretty, i think the ocean and atmosphere play a big roll in that. i'm sure they would look and seem more enjoyable if they were else where than here, because we are so used to seeing them in the same environment of where we live every day. i wonder if the people that live near the ocean get tired of their sunsets the same reason why we do.....

I'm sure they do. Once you see the same thing a million times it loses its glimmer in a way. That doesn't mean they aren't still nice, but they're just not overly unique anymore. Maybe the fact that the city and suburb atmosphere takes away from them is also a factor. I mean, pollution anyone?

Understandably so. Beaches are beautiful by themselves, sunsets just add to them really. Thats why I enjoy them on the ocean so much. There is just something so fascinating about the water and its depth, then the reflection of the sun on a nice warm day (I'm deja vu'ing back to my time in Hawaii experiencing this) on the ocean is just breathtaking.

I rarely get to see either of them, I often wonder if it's because I live in such a big city filled with such tall buildings or if it's because of the fast paced life style here and I just don't take the time to sit down and notice the beauty.

I love looking at them. I see more sunsets than sunrises. Not a morning person...

I loved to watched sunset and I must say that I more appreciate the sunset than the sunrise. Maybe because I rarely see a beautiful sunrise than sunset. And Maybe, I'm not a morning person so that I rarely catch the sunrise at it's beauty. Watching those magical moments when the light and dark are fighting it's time seems so amazing. I even tried to catch them by taking a picture but everytime I do that, I'm always been unsuccessful. Maybe I need a little more practice and preparation before trying another chance.
