For all of those that normally reside in Eunice, New Mexico God bless you. For the smell is rough!! It smells like rotten eggs. I am not sure if it is all these oil pumps and oil rigs or what but it smells bad. On our first trip out here as soon as the smell come in the vehicle my son started throwing up. No kidding. It is something that you soon get use to but the first time you smell it it sure turns your stomach. You really can't smell it as bad once you get into the town but coming and going it is enough to make you sick. So, do you live in a town like this or do you live in this town that I am talking about? Have you ever traveled through a town that smelt pretty bad? This town is small but there are oil pumps everywhere. The place where we are staying is called The Oil Patch Motel and RV Park. We are staying at the RV Park. The name should tell you the most important thing about the town.So can you smell your town before you get there?

yes, we have a papermill here where I live and when the rain is coming in and the humidity gets all damp it is yuck. Sometimes it is not so bad but sometimes it is horrible.

i know exactly what your talking about. I used to live in alpaw well Im not sure of the spelling of the town but is in california. They have this same problem there. I lived there when I was real little but I can still smell it like twenty something years later. Everything about the town smelt like it including the water that was not even able to be drank.
