disney meal plan

i got the disney meal plan for the first time. i couldn't beleive that all the restaurants basically serve the same meals for kids. all i could find was pizza, chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. my daughter doesn't eat that kind of stuff. she likes adult food. i was very dissapointed. don't they realize most people go on vacation for a week at a time. do they expect kids to live of 3 choices for a week

There are some choices that are buffet style. We went to one at the Animal Kingdom Lodge on the meal plan and it was fantastic. They had a ton of African food. There are some other buffets as well. That said, my aunt had the same problem with her kids when she went down over winter break. They didn't have the meal plan until my sister and I were older, so it was never an issue for my family.

My son would be in heaven if those were his choices for a whole week. He would live on pizza and mac and cheese if I let him. It is a bummer that they did not have food your daughter liked.
