I am fortunate, because here in England we grow lots of apples and so they are relatively cheap. There are also many varieties from which to choose, being sweet, sharp, whatever. Apples contain various vitamins which are beneficial for our health, but it is not a miracle cure in itself. Good health will come with a balanced diet of a variety of fruits and vegetables, along with proteins and carbohydrates. If apples are expensive, then try to buy a variety of local fruit. We don't grow any exotic fruits in England, its just too wet and cold most of the time. So imported exotic fruit can be very expensive. :)

I eat apples but not every day. Apples are quite expensive, but the health benefits it offers is enough to make it worth it. And yeah, we also have apples when somebody doesn't feel well - not because they have curative properties, but only because fruits in general are good :D Thanks for the response on my discussion!
