bought a ebook? I am curious if anyone here has every bought one. I have thought about it but have never done it. If you have what did you like about it ? And what did you not like about it? I have thought about writing an ebook myself but I am curious what others think about them? Thanks for any posts?

I've bought quite a few ebooks on various topics, such as RPGs. The main thing I don't like about ebooks is reading them on the computer, I find it uncomfortable, so I often print them out. I think I'll buy an R4 for my Nintendo DS, convert the ebooks to text files, install a text file reader and use the DS as an ebook reader.

There's actually quite a lot of homebrew stuff available for the DS. I found out about it after installing R4s on my friends kids' DS.

I never bought an ebook. But I downloaded some free ebook that available from the internet. Reading ebook in the computer is really inconvenient to do because its can cause a lot of eyes strain. But now, ebook reader device are available and I'm interested to buy one. One is Amazon's e-book reader ( http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/11/amazon-kindle-meet-amazons-e-book-reader/ ) and the other is Sony Reader ( http://www.engadget.com/2006/01/06/sony-reader-details-and-pics/ ) .

I have bought a few ebooks. The best part is you buy them from the comfort of your home, and you get immediate possession. The only negative that I can think of is you can only read it while you are at your computer. I like to read while I am sitting outdoors, and I don't have a laptop, so I was never able to take my ebooks with me. Other than that, I liked the ones that I have picked up online. Good luck to you!

I never bought an ebook but I tried a few free ones or trials of the first few pages. Ebooks honestly strain your eyes it makes it hard to read for long periods of time. A regular book is best even if it costs more. Plus I say less screen time on the computer is probably the best. I'm not sure if other people feel different but I saw a study on science daily that regular books are better of for children then ebooks.
