Harbinger of EXTINCTION?

Yes, it is true. Millions of years ago dinosaurs were probably killed off when a comet struck the earth. Now, astronomers have spotted a comet with an orbit of millions of years that has just entered our solar system. It is headed this way! No one yet knows how close it will come to earth. No one knows for sure that it will miss! Could this be the catestrophic apocalypse that spells mankind's doom? Read about it here. http://www.spaceweather.com/ I say this puts the world wide financial crises in perspective. What do you say?

Interesting. And it says that by February, it should be close enough to be seen with a pair of binoculars and even with the naked eye! I was fascinated by Halley's Comet all those years ago and it is a shame I am in Cairo with a polluted sky because I would love to try to see this one. Maybe this is the countdown beginning as per the Mayan Calendar? 2012, here we come.

The Mayan calender! Gosh... I wish I had remembered that. What a post I could have made including that and adding a bit more sensationalism. With that, the WEEKLY WORLD NEWS would have asked me to write for them.

Thank for the best response tag RYBD. So did you end up writing an article combining your post above with the Mayan angle and get published yet or what?

Well, if it happens after Bush leaves office then it will be the Obamunist's fault.... of course he will probably claim it to be an inherited problem.

Yes, it does kind of put things into perspective. I think I would rather not know if and when it will hit. Heck of a way to live!

Here's more perspective along with some rumor mongering. Do top world financiers not care about the apparent stupidity of their actions because a select few already know the course of the comet? (Just kidding!)
