Poor girl. That's just what you need, people bossing you around. Yes, I've had family try to make decisions for me. When I was really sick, they thought they could make decisions about my health, without telling me they were talking to my doctor without me knowing. And I was over 21! The doctor technically wasn't supposed to do that by law.

This is something very surprising. If the decision relates to your personal matter, I think this is quite undesirable that someone else is imposing decisions on you. I am fortunate in that respect. Nobody in my family impose any decision on me, neither, I impose it on them.

Well you cannot avoid that maybe they are just concerned about your situation. But then you could always tell them what you feel about the decision they made for you. You don't need to be annoyed just express what you feel about that and I do hope they would understand your position.

Yes my family use to be a pain in the ars but now I have nothing to do with my dad and I do as little as possible for my mom so I live my live as my husband and I see fit.
