hey men... would you date a woman who is very younger than you?

Hello manya_pearl! My husband is a lot older than me. But we love each other and I never regretted marrying him. He is the most amazing man I have ever met. Anyway, he looks younger than his age too.

It used to be fairly common for a man in the higher levels of society who is nearly or even over 30 to marry a 17-18 year old gal. In fact, in the "classic style" romance novel, that was the norm. That was because a man had to be a proven success before father's would let their daughters marry a man. Also because it was expected that a younger man would do some "sowing his wild oats" in his youth and be ready to settle down and start looking for an heir about then. Girls, on the other hand, would be wanting to have their children while they were still young. So, while it isn't as common as it once was, it does still happen, but now they call those sort of women "trophy wives."

I'm not a man but I can answer this for my husband. He is 15 years older than I am. We get along great.

If I am going for a sincere and serious relationship, I think I can go for dating a girl who is about 10 yrs younger than me. But the thing is, she needs to be mature enough to match my maturity level. If we dont stand equal with brains, a relationship can never survive! Physical thing comes afterwards. But anybody more than 10 yr younger than me, I think I would avoid such a relationship. It doesnt appear good to me.

I think men like dating very young girls:) I am a woman, but I don't like dating a man who is older than me 10 years. As I think it's a big generation gap. I love China

Dear Manya, I think age does not matter in love and marriage. my wife is more than 15 years younger to me and she never regrets marrying me. Though sometimes I feel guilty that I am so much older than her.

as long as i like her, i would probably date her. Lol. 'coz age is not really a problem at all. especially i have a baby face image.. lol
