do you love a big family or small?

We are also three in the family, hubby, me and our son. however, I have stayed for more than 10years in a joint family with my in-laws and now for the past one year, we are staying separate as a small family. I know the pros and cons of both. Each is beneficial in its own ways while there are problems in money matters and individual privacy. Its difficult for me to choose between the two.

we are 7 in the family including my parents and from what i experienced, its not that crowded. Its fun having a big family especially when there's gathering but i guess, i don't like to have one because its difficult these days. there are disadvantages of having big family like money matters but we can't really avoid this things. i'll just be happy enough if my brothers and sisters along with their family will gather together to celebrate special occasions. aside from that, i'm contented not having a family of my own.

Well I have 1 brother and 4 sisters and I love having a big family with my parents and siblings, but I never wanted children. How weird is that? HOwever God sent me a present 8 years ago and I love her with all my heart. I married my husband and he had a little boy already. We don't have any together we think 2 is plenty. But my husband has 2 sisters and 3 brothers. So we love big families just didnt feel right for us. All of our siblings have many kids 3 or 4 a piece. So we have plenty nieces and nephews. I wish my kids had that, but I just don't think I could deal with it.

Well I like a small family myself,my wife and three children .I like a small intimate family and thats pretty much the size of family that my mother had too.I think when the family gets too large you dont get a chance to know and spend time with each child the way you would have wanted .

When my husband and I were dating we use to joke about wanting 15 kids...now I look back on that with only 2 kids and think what was I thinking. Realistically I always pictured myself with 3 kids but pregnancy was really hard on me so for now I'm content with my 2 which just happen to be a boy and a girl. If God wants me to have another one then it will have to be his doing. Adoption is still another thing we are talking about also so I guess there is always that chance.

Coming from a small family.. I WANT A BIG ONE!!! I'd like to have about three to four kids.. depending. Two would be good too. But i'd at least a minimum one guy and one girl.

O don't mind a large family, but in these difficult times, one can't afford to look after more than two children. More over we have to see tha tthe world does nto get over populated. We are eating into teh resources of the earth. with the ever increasing population we will soon be pushed into the sea.
