What is the problem of the believer if somebody does not believe in God? I have spoken to several atheists and I see that they are not so bothered if somebody believs in God. But when I speak to believers, they speak as if those who do not believe in God are losers, they are maing a mess of their lives and if they do not mend their ways and start believing in a God, they will get everything wrong and the day will come when they will hav to face God and that day will not be a happy day for them.

I agree.... but not all believers do that... I do not believe in God... i think its absolutely absurd to believe which can not be seen, touched, felt or proved...it is a result of fiction...but anyways...younger generation is far more smart and easy on these beliefs...so i think its more like Generational gap problem than being theist or atheist...

i'm sorry, but in my opinion, don't u ever think that our universe is really needs a creator? i don't believe in darwinism theory that humans are from apes, are your ancestors were apes? everything needs the Creator to exist. i.e.: it's impossible for us to believe that any building is suddenly exists without any architect or builder. so, it's really imposible for us to believe that our earth and universe which are very complicated were exist from evolution process (who are u if you believe that my shirt is suddenly pops out from trees or it was made by itself without others hands?). which is more relevan? the universe has a Creator or not? and the Creator must be different and has ultimate power and attributes because to make something form nothing He needs an infinity amount of energy (power.

good that you said your shirt was result of hands and not god...;) Okay so you say our universe needs a creator... So who created the Creator?... if your answer is that he/she/it existed beyond time and space....well Why can't just universe exist beyond time and space...without God...just like your creator existed without his creator... It all sounds so silly, Hidden God, Hidden Motifs, Time will show, Time will tell, Time will come.... Its like a fairy tale that i was told 20 years back so that i could go back to sleep, eat right, go to school.... you see... Good point han!!!... Think about it...Who created the creator?...and why he created us?... Whats the point if he wants us to worship him.... He created us cuz he wanted someone to worship/follow him.... sounds Hitler or Osama to me... Think about it...have self belief above all...that will help... Thanks Sid

Its sad to see those who don't believe in god, but its does not bother me and i won't bother them by saying that they should believe in god. I believe in God because i know someone mightier than me is there and who watches me everyday and i feel him. I think they don't believe in god because till now they haven't experienced the power of the Mighty one and i hope that one day they will realize. We don't have the right to be angry with them because they are non believers in god or try to convince them, its their personal experience that they cannot feel or face God.

I have seen the exact opposite. You can just look at any message boards here for example, if someone does believe in God, they seem to get bashed and people feel the need to tell them God does not exist and how the Bible isn't real. Just look around. It's crazy.

somebody will just says that they believed in God...it only comes from the mouth either or from his/her mind..but the truth is that she/he really don't do the will of God..like following his/her commandments..like reading the holy scriptures which we call bible..why other religion believed in two Gods..three Gods or more wherein fact we have only one God...

accordingly, one should believe in god or not is his personal,it is good when he believes in god, fine if he wont, but one should not critisize god, becoz i had seen, the people who are critisizing god, their life became worse now.

I've spoken to quite a few atheists that do disapprove of people believing in God. Some go so far as to belittle the intelligence of people they don't even know, simply because they choose to believe in a supernatural being. It's a two way street, hun. That infamous atheist sign in a Washington courthouse at Christmas, or the man that's suing have "so help me God" taken out of Obama's inaugural address are prime examples of this.

In my case and my experiences, when someone tells me I am wrong to not believe in god, it is because they are close-minded idiots who think they are the only ones who are right and every one should be like them. I have one friend who actually stopped being my friend when she found out my beliefs. Can you imagine? Someone not talking to someone they once cared about because there beliefs are different!

I agree with your feelings and sentiment on the distraction of people that do not believe in God, we must remember that atheist organization is a man-made device-the propaganda that is an unnatural opposition to God's Law.

yeah kinda strane huh?? even i have noticed this. Well i guess atheists have realized that God doesnt exist and that is enough for them. Whether someone else believes in a mythical GOD is none of their concern But for a believer its a different story. They might be thinking that its their moral duty to GOD to convert every non-believer and by doing so, GOD would be pleased with them. It becomes their moral obligation to do that for GOD. Dont know if that is the fact but this is just my opinion.. :)

Basically each person has different thoughts!he does not have to undergo through a series of troubles in life and then eventually stop believing in GOD!a person may not believe in GOD and its perfectly normal!but atleast he should not disrespect people who belive in GOD!

Well personally I believe in "God" or rather a higher power, I consider myself more pagan (not devil worship) than a Christian but I think I can guess at the reason. Believers are concerned with the damnation of your eternal soul. I think they are just concerned about us, I guess they just have a funny way of showing it. Although for all of the believers out there they need to understand that no one has the right to judge but GOD himself, so worry about your own souls and leave ours to us please. I don't tell anyone who or who not to believe in, I don't tell anyone else that they are damed because they don't believe in my beliefs and I would appreciate it if other people stopped doing it to me. It's my life thank you so much. I just wish that everyone could get along and leave us to be us. I hope there are others out there that agree with me.

Action speaks louder than words is my opinion. One can believe in God yet live and talk like an unbeliever. One can be not believing in God yet has a nice and good character. I am a firm believer in God and I believe that it is our everyday living and lifestyle that speaks the most. No harm in hanging a cross in our house or having a Jesus bumper sticker or wearing a Christian t shirt but we better be a walking testimony to all.

It bother religious people when others don't believe in God for a whole host of reasons. Sometimes, it's because the atheist becomes insulting towards the believer (which is not always the case, but it DOES happen). Other times, it's because a believer can't understand the way an atheist's mind works, and a believer feels that the atheist is missing out on things because of their non-belief. Sometimes, as the above poster pointed out, they are merely concerned about the atheist, since their belief tells them that the atheist will go to hell for not believing. Others have a problem with atheists because atheists make them question their own faith in God, which makes them feel guilty or insecure. I personally have faith in God, but I know others that do not, and, like with the above poster, I am able to have intellectual debates with my non-believing friends, and we both learn a lot. I have no problem with them, nor do I think they are doomed to hell should my belief turn out to be correct, because my belief tells me that you have to be pretty morally bankrupt to go to hell - most atheists are good people, and MY God doesn't send good people to hell simply for being mistaken about His existence.

Nah, I don't think so. Not really. One of my best friends is very religious actually- if you walk into her house, everywhere you look there's a Jesus fish here, a bible quote there, a ten commandments poster, a cross, everything. But she knows that I'm completely the opposite, and we've talked about it. But it's useless to debate it- it's never a fight though, it's just a discussion. Well, I have an answer for everything, and she does to. It's a good way to learn things, but you can't really "win" that arguement. It's just because nobody really knows. I mean, it's not really something that people consider a fact. It's all opinion. I think that believers have more of an excuse to spread it around and try to convince people because supposedly they would be helping someone go to heaven. If you think someone is going to go to hell, and they're someone you kind of like, you might want to prevent that. So that is sometimes the objective. Non-believers don't really have a motivation other than well, sometimes believers can be a little bit of a party pooper.

Religion is not something to try and prove or disprove. I have been to church for years, and it doesn't seem to make sense that chrisitan people say the scientist is wrong and doesn't make sense when the scientist say that the bible is wrong unless they have been back in time. I dont think religion is something that you can prove, or disprove if there was an arquement i dont even think the smartest person or most faithful christian or scientist will explain god. God is something that is beyond human understanding, it's like trying to find the end of the Universe
