One who is going to purchase a new PC, what he or she has to think about I think following are the points to be remember in mind before purchasing. Any one can add more in it afterwords. (a)Purpose (b)Capacity (c)Brand (d)Quality Assurance (e)Look (f)Make and specification (full details about the HDD/RAM/LCD/Assesories etc.) (g)After sell Service (h)Warranty/Guarantee (j)Laptop or Desktop One more thing so many peoples are discussing about Windows Xp or Vista, I suggest if you are new then you take only Win Xp, because you can do any damm thing with Xp but in Vista some features are creating problems, to refrain from that I prefer XP.

If I don't want to be at my desk all the top I would prefer a Laptop but if otherwise, a PC would always be better in my opinion... why? 1) Cheaper to buy 2) More power for your money 3) Larger screen size (option of adding even larger) 4) Easier and cheaper to repair 5) Can perform repairs and upgrades on your own (The inside of a PC is like a jigsaw) I have only purchased one PC since 2000 but I have always had great components because when a part or more fails, I replace it with a better part. I do hours of research to ensure what I buy is the best I can get for my money/needs.

Yes you have a lot to think about when it comes to buying a new computer, I am lucky i have a friend who builds mine for me, I have XP at the moment and I would love to keep it but my techy friend say it is just a matter of time theat I will have no choice, that the security patches just won't be sent out and he also said the with Vista it is all about the configuration, he said he could put Vista on my computer configure it so I would never know the difference...I hope things work out for you.
