Sure, a good listener can and should be a good thinker. Most successful persons have their advantages in all or most of the five Qs. IQ is long before recognized essential for success. To be good in IQ, a thinker comes up-front. A good thinker is able to see the essence through superficial phenomena; He knows how to approach the goal through thinking; He is good at thinking from various perspectives. Thinking is closely related to accomplishment. And this ability can be enhanced through cultivation. There are various ways of creative thinking. A person good at IQ should be but is not necessarily good at other Qs. EQ is a quality more and more admired in the current fast-paced environment. EQ decides whether one is happy with his life. It is interesting to take a EQ quiz, to find out your ability of emotional awareness, which is the foundation of EQ. It is equally important to know how to manage your emotion, how to conduct self motivation, how to know others' emotion, how to maintain harmoneous relationship. A person will hardly be successful without mastering all these skills. A good listener is a quality to acquire EQ excellence. Other Qs among the five are FQ, AQ and HQ, as normally mentioned in career development. Good to know your early awareness, and take pleasure to develop your quality in a conscious way to attain career and life success. Cheers.

Being a good listewner enhances our thinking. We share ideas and even argue, so that our minds and souls grow. Without listening (and reading, of course), we wouldn't have much to think about, anyway!

Yes. One who has the patience to listen is bound to be a good thinker, as the same patience is what gives the mind the freedom to think.
