Going to miss Grissom

I certainly hope there's not another discussion started up about this show. I tried to do a search and in a couple of different ways, came up empty. Well, another wonderful actor leaving another great show. Warrick and now Grissom. I wonder if he will be showing up in other movies or has William Peterson retired? It's going to be so weird to watch CSI without him. Do you think Laurence Fishbourne is going to replace Grissom? I thought he did that one appearance but people are telling a different tale. What's your thoughts?

I think it's a terrible mistake to let Peterson go...he's the anchor of that show. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to watch it without him there. It was bad enough when Sara left...after she and Grissom *finally* acted on their feelings for each other...and I was actually hoping that she would stay after Warrick was killed. I like Fishbourne but sometimes changing the lead character doesn't work out. I guess we'll have to see.

Well, we definitely do know now that Grissom did go to join up with Sara. I just knew that was going to happen. I'm glad it did, it would of been a disappointment to most if it didn't work that way. Although I do know that quite a few people were hoping he would end up with Lady Heather. I'm glad it ended up being a decent ending. Yes, he is and always will be the anchor of CSI in my book. No matter who they put in to replace Grissom, Laurence or Catherine, nobody is going to compare!

Well, I take that back. Somebody does compare. I have to say that I like Laurence Fishbourne. He fits in there nicely and does a great job. I have'nt missed any of the shows when Grissom left. Have You?

Do you think he will go to be with Sarah? He seems to be doing the same things (facial expressions, mind wandering) that Sarah did when she left.

Is Warrick and Grissom really left? I start to watch the reruns of CSI lasVages about two months ago, from the season one to the season four I'm now watching. Warrick and Grissom were two of my favorites, I cant imagine how this TV series is going to be without them, when did Warrick and Grissom leave?

Unfortunately, yes, they are both now gone from the show. I think, from the previews of this season starting up next week, tht Grissom may make an appearance. Sarah definitely does. Seen her. Warrick and Grissom left the show with the last season or two. I think this is their ninth season? Don't quote me though. I thought I may not like the show with them two (my favorites) gone, but it's just fine with me. The show is still good in my book, although I do wish those two were back.

Laurence Fishbourne IS joining the cast - but from what I understand, it will be Catherine who takes over Grissom's job. William Peterson is currently doing theater in Chicago, but is still an executive producer for CSI and may turn up in a few guest spots every once in a while. Apparently, Billy was getting that urge many actors get when they've played a character for a long time - he wanted to do something different, and he missed the stage. This is all in this week's issue of Entertainment Weekly, and could probably be found on www.ew.com as well. I'll miss Grissom dearly. I'm not sure how well the show will work without him; it'll be interesting to see how they try to make it come together. Interesting (also in Entertainment Weekly), both Warrick AND Grissom were scheduled to leave LAST season, but the writer's strike delayed everything, and they had to postpone. I didn't know that before.

I think there was talk of William Peterson leaving the show a couple of seasons ago due to his hearing in real life. Oh brother to Catherine, I would rather see Laurence Fishbourne take over Grissom's job than her. No offense to Catherine, alright actor, but there's just something about her attitude I don't care for. Most actors on that show seem really down to earth and decent attitudes, not the better than though attitude. That would be really nice to see William do guest appearances or even movies. I would definitely miss not seeing him.

I still cant believe its happening. I started watching CSI because of him. Now I watch it cause its a good show. He used to make me laugh. He was the one that made CSI what it is. I dont think he can be replaced and it really worry's me that yet another good show is gonna dissapear once the main character leaves. Let me remind every one of what happened with X files when Mulder was written out. Needless to say the truth maybe out there but we will never know now. I just hope that this is not a precursor to whats coming maybe the end of one of my favorite shows.

I also started watching the show because of Grissom's main role and William playing the part. I've always liked him, he's a good actor. Laurence Fishbourne is a good actor, but I don't know how he will do with it. He's not the reason I watched or continued to watch the show in the first place. Whether or not I will continue to watch it, I really don't know. Time will tell. I knew Grissom was going to join Sara at the end. The show seems to survive Warrick Brown being gone, and I do miss him another great actor, I don't know about this show now.
