How many of us can really afford to wear real diamonds, of good quality and cut. I just have one ring and all the rest are fake diamonds which glitter as much as the original. I feel equally happy wearing the fakes as the originals. What about you guys.

Actually, diamonds has many different specifications. Some are affordable and the other are not. It all depends on which kind of diamond you want and how much money you can make. Anyway, i always think a real one is better than fake one. I won't buy a fake one to my girlfriend rather than not give her diamond.

Yes, no sense in actually buying a diamond ring if its fake for gifting purposes. Diamonds are of so many cuts and grades, it is out of our reach, the really nice ones, but then like I said, Im happy with my fakes too. Thanks.

Absolutely, fake one is also nice and beautiful if good-looking.

I don't like any type of jewellry including diamonds. They say that diamonds are a girl's best friend. since I am a man, thats why they are not my best friend up till now. I prefer to be free from any ear rings and any type of jewellry including watches. (c) ronaldinu 2009 - the more people I meet-the more I love my dog

Its just not saf e to wear real diamonds anymore with all the crime. I know alot of people who leave them in the jewelry box's and do so because they do not want to get robbed....so its something to consider. I dont wear alot of jewelry and most of what I have , I have had for a very long time....

Oh yes, with the crime rate up, its just not possible to wear real jewellery, diamonds or gold. I too have a very pretty fake set which I usually wear to functions. Better safe than sorry.

Your lucky that you even have one real diamond...I don't really have one, but come to think I'm not really interested in diamonds or jewelries and stuff.

One of your plus points. I like jewellery, though I do not make them unless there is a big occassion in the family. Good luck.

My engagement ring has nine real diamonds (three large and six small) and that's enough for me. I think it's symbolic (for me) in an engagement ring (diamonds are forever, etc) but I don't find it too important in other jewellery. I have fake diamond studs in my ears that everyone thinks are real and they came from Walmart - $10 for three pairs!

Wow, must be a whopper. Enjoy them in good health and happiness. These days, we as laymen cannot differentiate between fakes and real diamonds, so good is their make. Flaunt your earings darling, and never tell they are fakes. lol.

How can you tell the real from the fakes?;-) Their value or flawlessness? I have a couple bought from prestigious stores and some from just plain store but they claim these are diamonds. I can see my engagement ring to be most flawless from the rest but its not really that big. And I have fakes but yes wearing the real and fakes ones just as much give you the same feeling.;-)

Actually we as laymen cannont differentiate the fakes from real, but the jewellers will be able to. Besides there are a lot of flaws in a real diamond. Good luck with your engagement. Yep, you are like me. Who cares if they are fakes. We enjoy wearing them and that counts. Cheers.

I am not into jewelry very much. I do not have any real diamonds. I cannot afford them and would not waste money on them.

Yes, I too got it as a gift from a very old man who treated me like a daughter and that too on my sons navjote, a ceremony like baptism. I too cant afford them and am equally delighted with the fakes. Thanks.

I'm not really much into jewelry. While I would be thrilled to have some real diamonds (I only have my wedding set), I'm just as happy with costume jewelry. It's easier to follow the fashion trends too. I know people who purchased a lot of gold stuff in the 80s but now never wear it because it's out of style. There are commercials on TV about places that will buy your "unwanted gold" jewelry. Besides, I don't really go anywhere fancy enough to be wearing diamonds and designer things anyway.

Actually these days even if you have jewellery, its not safe to wear them, even for occassions. Id rather wear fakes and go. A whole wedding set is great and must be gorgeous. Gold is just a way of investment for bad times, I feel. We dont spend it off as money in hand. Cheers.

All that glitters are not gold. Your dimond is also like so.I have also a ring with a fake dimond. It also glitter like a real dimond. So what?It glitters. That's enough for me.I'm not a king and you are also not a queen. We have no crown. Our dimonds are fake. But we are not fake king or queen. Our homes are paradise like. That always glitters.

Actually I could not afford a real diamond. It was gifted to me by a very old man who considers me as his daughter and th at too on my sons navjote (janoy ceremony) My fakes shine as much as the real ones and gives me equal pleasure. Yes, I think having a good heart is better than any glittering diamond or home. Th anks.
