Poor kitty cat

When I came home tonight from choir rehearsal and got on my porch, I noticed something in the chair I have on the porch. It was a cat, the cat looked at me, and I looked at the cat, and he got scared and jumped off of the porch.
Tonight, the temperature are supposed to be below zero. I know I will think about that cat all night. I have two cats of my own. I hope he comes back to the chair, at least he will be able to snuggle up some. It is a cloth recliner.
My landlord, is an animal hater, so I hope he does not see the cat on the porch.
Tomorrow, I am going to leave some food by the chair in case he comes back. I really hope he does. There are no stray animals in this neighborhood that I have seen.
Are there many stray animals where you live?

I hope the cat finds a warm place to curl up in tonight.
No we are fortunate not to have a large number of strays in the area. Sometimes we get an ignorant jerk who tosses a litter of puppies out at the local dump site but that is a very rare event.
