Would you turn in a loved one for a crime if you knew 100% that relative or loved one did it and they begged you not to turn them in? As a parent it would be hard to turn in a child i think or my husband less he hurn a child....but anyone else I would have to turn in to insure in would not happen again. The unibomber was turned in I think by his brother ...as an example!

Depending on what it was that they had done, I think I would turn them in. I'm talking for the more serious offenses such as rape, murder, or molestation. Stealing, depending on who they stole it from and why, I might let them get away with it. Although, I would insist that they pay the person back. I think your post is indicative with what's wrong with America and the world. A lot of people are just concerned that their close people are alright without considering what those people are inflicting on the rest of the world. I hope I would not fall into that trap.

It depends on the crime. I mean, if people are getting hurt, and I had to live with the fear that if I forgot to wash the dishes I would be next, I'd probably have to force myself to turn them in. But if it's theft or something, and I really loved this person, let's just say, "I didn't know." Armed robbery of a bank, though, different. A little vandalism.. tolerable. Bad, but I don't think I would be able to bring myself to do it.

Wow this is hard It would be a little hard to turn in family or children. I think if it was a majoir crime and I knew they did it I would help them out as much as possible with a attonery and go from there.
