Has the poor economy changed your eating habits? Do you eat out less? Do you prepare different meals or grocery shop differently over the last year?

it really did changed a LOT. i am a single mom of four children and my children are all teens already. it is not easy to be a single mom of children who needs a lot at school and eats a lot as well. lol. before we used to eat out twice a month and now we can only do that IF THE BUDGET would really allow us. they are all understanding Thank God. but i hope this year would be a better one.... so far i can see the price of gasoline going down so i think that is a good sign

No, since I was already(and had been for decades) being very thrifty and not eating out. I also stock up on things like canned vegetables and salmon and other things when they are on sale and have been for decades. So this bad economy has really hurt me because there was almost no place left for me to save especially in the area of eating habits.

I live alone so it's pretty much the same. I do make big batches of soup etc. though and freeze them. Also fast food has lost it's apeal too but I do still enjoy going out to eat once in a while.
