Most of the time my kids turn their noses up at spicy food. I guess they have both learned to make exceptions for Jalapeno flavored Cheetos and jalapeno Krunchers potato chips. Both of my kids love both of these spicy snacks. Slim Jim's too. Any other spicy foods they won't touch them. Do your kids like spicy foods?

oh my gosh I tried those jalapeno flavored Cheetos's and they are flippen good. I love spicy foods. My hubby on the other hand don't but he will eat chicken with a little kick though. Now I have a 2 year old son, so when I went to eat my jalapeno Cheetos's they were pretty much gone. I bought one of those 99 cent bags so I only got about 20 pieces. Come to find out my 2 year old finished them. Ohh was I mad cause I bought him cheese puffs. For lunch today I made 2 spicy sausage patty sandwich's and he ate half of one. I looked at him and said geez you are mommy's son....lol Happy Mylotting

It is interesting how most youngsters like hot/spicy foods and yet they should be the first age group to hate that kind of stuff.

Hi lilybug! My children are all pretty good for liking spice, except my youngest colton. I fed him the dreaded baby food in a jar because I was getting it free when he was a baby and I think that messed up his palate. My other two got home made food that I had added spice to so there are way more used to it and like it. My older son Clayton adds extra spice to all his dishes, even mac and cheese gets the cayenne pepper assault. I couldn't eat the spice he does but I know when people come to my house they usually comment on the spice which have usually been tamed down for guests. LOL

Too funny. My sister had some spicy ketchup once. It was jalapeno ketchup.

Jalapeno flavored cheetos, whoa. I don't think I'd even eat those now that I'm older. No one in my family ever liked spicy things, so I didn't eat much spicy food until I was in my twenties. So when I was on my own by twenty I got to pick out all my own groceries since I was the one paying for them. And I discovered I love spicy food!

Cool! I don't have kids by I'm "training" my niece to like spicy foods. I always enjoy certain foods if they were spicy - even junk food! It's adorable to think that your children can stomach them :D Thanks for the response on my discussion!
