There seems to be a limit on uploading photos generally. I think that it's a 24 hr limit, so if you try again tomorrow, you may be lucky. I can't find any information as to what the limit might be, except that there does appear to be one.
You ought to be aware (and perhaps you are) that photos uploaded to your 'personal' space don't earn anything ... not important unless you were hoping that they did!

The 'limit on uploading', by the way, appears to be global, not personal. So if others have used up to the limit, you (and anybody else) won't be able to upload.

Thank you so much for responding informatively. I am indeed new entrant to this beautiful site and yet to understand all the rules of this game, that is.

And I waas not aware that photos uploaded to personal space will not earn me anything. So thanks again friend.
