Our dog was stolen

We had her for 1 month. Her name was dolly and she was a lovely playful smart dog. Perfect friend for my son. He was outside playing with her all day every day, we took her for walks, she played in our yard and no matter how much we tied her she always managed to untie her self and in the morning she was always at our door. Yesterday she took of her collar and was playing under my window. I was watching her from my bed at one point she got one of her toys and ran on the street I got up and went after her (as that was a sign that she saw someone and she wanted to play) when I got there she was gone and the toy was on the side of the road. Me and my son went out looking for her on the streets we could not find her. When my husband got home we did it again. There is no sign of her. We are all sad expecially my son who really loved her. We are going to put pictures all over the area today and hope they return her.

I send him to my moms house last night and he called me few minutes ago to ask if Dolly was back. I hope we get her back because she was his first pet and he loves her so much. My father had to take her when we went on holiday and my son cried so much begging my father not to take her.

I am so so sorry to hear this and saddened! Who could do such a thing!?!? I am sure you were quick in running out when you saw him going for the street...They grabbed him and disappeared in that short amount of time! This to me is disgusting and shocking! I do hope that your puppy is returned safely and quickly! I will be praying for you and your family on this point! ~Heavens~

She was so playful and cute that she just wanted someone to play with and didnt mind who it was. I didnt hear a car so who ever it was must have been on bike or walking.

I am praying you get your little girl back. Did you get her micorchip? Because if any took her she will be found if they try to take her to the vet You can get them micorchip cheap at your human society. I did that to my dogs.

No we did not have her microchiped as we just got her and waited to do it after we got her registed. But people do get away with stealing dogs even if they are microchiped.

It's sad your dog disappeared. It's possible that someone thought she was lost and took her in for safety. Or maybe a little kid took her and his parent will see the signs and return him. I hope you get her back. Dogs disappearing is one reason you should never let your dog out if you can't be there right beside her. Keep her inside with you.

She was an outside dog I am pregnant so I could not have her inside the house. She had a dog house and everything and she was only let out of the area when we could watch her but in that minute that it took me to get from the bed to the street she was gone. She had her toy and just walked out from the house anyone that saw her would have seen that. This was no mistake.

I am sorry to heard about that and wish Dolly is fine now. May be someone saw there was a dog on the road and pick her up to take care of her. Hope your family can find her soon. Good Luck!

She walked out with a dog toy that should have told the person that she is well loved and that it belongs to someone. I am very upset that someone can do this.
