well obama is the first black man EVER elected president, its a bit more of an accomplishment that being the 43 white man elected. i've been to the wax museum in tj and it was pretty nasty, dont think i need to see wax people again.

No I have never been to the wax museum but I would think it would be a great place to visit and revisit out history and see some awesome wax works of our presidents and celebrities. I would visit one if we had one close enough. By the way I just finished watching a movie and seen that it has a part in it that was shot in Montreal. In the movie,National Lampoon's "Going the Distance". SO I got to see a small part of your lovely town.

When I was 16 years old I visited Madame Tussaud's famous museum it gave me the creeps everything was so life like. The Chamber of Horrors was the scariest most gruesome place I have ever been in or seen in my entire life.

Then you would also enjoy the catacombs in Rome. The first time I tried to tour them I was refused entry as I was wearing shorts and the priest said it was hallowed ground and shorts were disrespectful. We went back the next day and it was very interesting.

I've been to the Hall of Presidents at Disney World many times and the wax figures there are incredible! I'm thinking I was also at another wax museum in the Orlando area years ago but I'm not sure where or if it's still there. I'm talking at least thirty years ago...lol! Annie

I saw that on the news last night and it is so life like. It amazes me how the wax figures look so real, just like you could walk up to them and they should talk to you. I haven't been to a wax museum but my daughter and her husband did, they went to the Madame Tussaud's wax museum in New York. I haven't seen her pictures yet but I have seen a few of his that he had taken with some of the wax figures. Ever so often my son in law would put one of his up on his myspace, so far I have seen one of him with Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, the singer Prince, and some of the past presedent's.

I haven't been to it and I don't think that I would really enjoy going.. I have seen bits and pieces of the horror movies that My husband and son watch and I think a wax museum with all of the life size, life like figures would honestly freak me out.. We did see a few of them at Ripley's Believe It Or Not in Gatlinburg, and they were scary enough, too lifelike for me..

I have never been to a wax museum. I have never lived close enough to one to be able to visit one. I think it would be very interesting. I have heard people say that the figures are life like and that they look like that at any minute they will come to life. I would love to go to the museum with the presidents in it. It does not surprise me that Obama has already been done in wax. History has been made with him being elected president. I think that is why his figure was done in wax so quickly. But that is just my opinion.

no doubt about it history was definitely made with obama and you could be right maybe that is why but then maybe as soon as any president is voted in they start the process I don't know.

Wow! Mommy Rose, that was indeed sooo fast that Obama got his. I might think he is truly most popular, being the first African American. I've never been to a wax museum. I hope when that time comes, Obama's Wax Figure is still there. LOL. Cheers, JNY
