I agree with the person who mentioned the fathers, fathers play a huge role in raising a child as well, shouldnt really leave them out.

Having my then teenage daughter tell me she was glad I didn't allow her to go out with her friends on a certain night. Maybe it's not sweet sounding words..but it showed me she understood why I said no and she appreciated it in the end.

When my oldest daughter was about three or four, I used to tuck her in bed and every night I would say, "Good-night, treasure." One day, she answered, "Good-night, pirate." I thought it was the most adorable thing she could have said.

The sweetest thing my daughter said to me was "mama" Doctors told me and my husband she with her brain damage, she would not eat, talk, roll over, walk, etc etc. She proved the doctors wrong! She said "mama" looking at me. September 4th 2005!! I will never forget that day.

I don't have any children, but i'm a babysitter and an after-school teacher. They say to me sweet things all the times: Valentina, 10, hugs me so strong and says: " You're only mine " and Rocco, 9, tells i'm a good teacher and i can even draw! LOL Well, children are the funniest and sweetest people in the world, i really love them! :)
