i have to get out in the cold today!

I am sorry to hear that. Please do dress warm. It has been very cold here too. I did not have to run any errands today though.

Hi TnWoman, I went out yesterday to get a mic for my computer so today I am staying in in the warmth out of the cold and just have my computer for company and quietness as my huubby is at work. Love and hugs. Tamara xxx

I am doing my best to hybernate, It has been so cold, I don't want to go out in it. I am planning on going to church tomorrow, hopefully the temp will be above zero. I am so happy to hear that you are still making you cakes. Take care, its always nice hearing from you. Stay warm.

I went to the nearest city yesterday for a hair cut and pick up a few things. That was the longest ride home of my life and I'm only a 3/4 of an hour ride away. It didn't seem to bad going in other than the wind was strong and there was blowing snow but I've driven on lots worse so I went kept going. It was nice in town. Well coming home it was all I could do to keep my van on the road. My husband called me from his phone in his truck. He was on his way home from work and he knew I was on the road. He called to warn me of sever bad spots further ahead which was good. I saw a truck upside down, a car in the ditch and an van stuck in the ditch. It was horrible so what will I do today? Stay off the roads and enjoy a quiet day at home. Hubby wants a hair cut so I'll do that and bake a batch of bread. Have a Great Weekend!!!

Hi TnWoman! I went to the grocery this morning and for the rest of the afternoon, I just stayed home. It is really not a problem with me since I live in a tropical country and it is not that too cold here unlike in yours. I get out in it everyday, but, I wear my long johns now.. I have always owned a pair and they are the nicer women's wear, if you can say that about them, but have never worn them before.. This is the first time in my life that I have ever gotten so cold, so I do now wear them under my regular clothing, they make a huge difference.. We make a daily trip to a corner convenience store to pick up a few items and to have coffee with our friends, but with the door constantly opening and closing and people coming in and out the entire time we are there, it gets a bit cold for me, so I bundle up now, even if I am going to be inside.. Take care and stay warm..
