learning a foreign language online

have you noticed that there are more online learning sites for foreign languages starting to pop out recently? i'm actually interested in these sites. i want to learn a foreign language, but i don't have the time or means to actually go to a class. i guess the internet is a convenient way for me to learn, but i don't know which site is best. do you have suggestions? do you think try to a learn foreign language online can actually teach you well?

Oh yes! Learning a language online helps a lot faster. Especially, if you're focused in your learning, not socializing, it's what Ipersonally think.

I think that you can download audio books for that purpose - Pimsleur happens to have a very good reputation and the audio books are very well formatted for english-speaking people to learn a new language fairly easily. I tried the first few chapters for Japanese Learning and I found it very useful - and that's saying a lot since I've already taken a few courses on Japanese language. If it's not audio book...then I would suggest that you purchase a copy of a similar text book. I don't like online learning sites very much because if it's free then it's usually not *that* good.
