So are you this type of person? ANd do you regret it later? First your wondering what in the world am I talking about. Well I'm talking about a person who sees something for such an increible deal that you can't pass it up and you HAVE To buy it. Even if your unsure if you really need it. For instance, I went to walmart the other night and I went to there Christmas stuff to see what they have left. And they actually had a lot left. And all of there Christmas Stuff was 90 percent off. I mean could you just walk away from it? I had to pick some stuff up for that price. I bough $70.00 worth of stuff for only $7. I mean how can I pass that up. I really couldn't. Could you? Or have you bought something from a rescue mission or the goodwill that was such a good buy that you buy it because of it being a good buy. But than it just ends up sitting in a closet for most of the time? And when you see it again you wonder why did I buy this. And you know that you bought it because of it being a good deal but than you regret buying it because you honestly don't know if and when you'll use it. So Are you this type of person? ANd do you regret any of your pasted Purchases?

Those type of sales are to catch people just like yourself. I think all of us go back and forth as to whether we really need to buy something or not. It is a great price, but bottom line is do you really need it or not?

Yes I'll agree with you that those sales do catch me off guard and I do end up buying stuff even if I dont' need it now. I figure that if I bought it next year or technically the end of this year than it would cost a lot more in the long run. So why not buy it now and save the money that I would have spent at the end of the year. Even if I just bought one thing the end of this year it would have cost me just as much if I spent the money now on a bunch of items rather than just one.

I definately agree with you that off season is the time to buy. I try to buy all my clothes and hubby's clothes at the end of season. I also try to start shopping for Christmas as soon as christmas ends because you can get some really great deals. That's of course if I have the money.

If you have the extra money and the space to store it then buy it. If you are short money and need it for other things then don't. Offseason is the best time to buy things.

I know exactly what you are talking about.I am exactly like this. I buy something which looks good to me, or have a very heavy discount or is for goodwill like for charity purpose but later regret buying. Still don't have heart to gift it to someone else. I have almost a collection such things.

I quess we both do.. I have an apartment full of different things that I bought that honestly I don't really need. LIke a bunch of books. I have about 30 books that I bought at a real bargain but still haven't had time to read them. So I kind of feel it's a waste. And I don't want to give them up until I've at least read them.

It sounds like you had a very good deal there! If you were prepared to store it for 10 months or so and then put it on eBay, you might make a killing, who knows! I do sometimes buy stuff on the spur of the moment either because its a bargain or (more usually) because I have a burning desire to use it/try it out. Not infrequently that desire has passed by the time I get home and it gets put in the cupboard or on a shelf to gather dust!

I don't really care for putting things on e-bay because of all the fees and also paypal fees. It really adds up and after you put all the work on putting it on there and shipping it you've only made cents for your all of your work.

No offense taken. Basically I'm asking. Are you a type of person who buys things that you truly do not need. And you end up not using them or it. Do you regret it?
