My mama called last night and asked me to look up what it ment if a bird flew into your house. She said my great grandma used to say it was a bad omen or something. She couldnt remember and it was driving her nuts! My mother is not superstitious she was just curious at what it ment to those who are. So i did look it up and supposedly if a bird flies into your home it means importnant news will come. But if the bird cannot get out then it means a death omen. My dad had to catch this little bird and put him out. The bird seemed to want to stay in cause it was not tring to get out. Are you superstitious? Do you know of any strange superstitions?

Does it mean the same thing if a cat DRAGS the bird in? lol... we got a bird that way. Thankfully I slept through the whole thing and hubby had to get it out. No, I'm not at all supersitious.

Not only do I not find myself as being superstitious, I feel those who are have something I don't have. My ex and his "church" buddies all believed they could see spirits on people's faces, demons in the room, angels everywhere and one man claimed to have talked to Moses. I know I'm deviating from your original question, but it was because of this that when certain things happened, they would react to it so strongly, it was rather...sad. I wanted to tell them, "Get a life." *Pleiades
