Reason for increased rate of divorce in today's society

Is it any coincidence that the increase in divorce coincides with the increase in personal hygiene? People, after all, are merely animals. What do animals use to find their mates? Sight, sound and scent! Therefore, by covering up our natural odours we are deceiving each others subconscience. Our sense of smell is one of the best ways to pick a mate...without it, we are attracted to a stranger on the bus solely based on sight and the smell of their perfume/cologne etc. Sent lets our subconscious know if we will be compatible as a couple. So next time you find yourself flirting with somebody you just met...ask yourself,"Am I attracted to them, or their choice of manufactured scent?

LOL! This is crazy. There are people at work that their colgne does not even help they smell so bad I can't see anyone wanting to be around them for more than 30 seconds. Sooooo I say hygiene is a good thing.

Yes I know, but that's how you know your not attracted. Same goes for if you smell somebody before they shower...and you ARE NOT disgusted, you have a higher compatibility rate. Kind of like the saying "you don't know you like somebody until you see them at their worst". Accept in this it's "until you smell them at their worst". I am by no means suggesting people stop showering...what a stinky world we would live in, but maybe just tone down on the amount of perfume and such that we use.
