How many fingers do you type with?

I use all 10 fingers to type. Make lots of mistakes but I still use em.

Good Discussion. I had the same thing in my mind and before starting the new one I thought of trying a search and I found it with exact words. Well, I use my 9 fingers and its the possible way to type. If you are using ten then you are great buddy. Even in the world of typing they recommend 9 fingers only. I usually type in 123 words per minute if I have the book in front of me. But, if I need to think then the speed depends on the ideas coming to my mind.

I also use all my ten finger including two thumbs though my typing speed is not great. but with practice it can improve.

i use most of them. i dont really use my pinkys. lol. my dad only types with 2. and its usually one hand at a time haha

well i try to use only three fingers but one of my finger always come to my way......

i use my both hands including fingers, thumbs, wrist and palm. i think we need to use all of them to type in the right way.

i type with all of my 10 fingers. we were taught at highschool how to use the keyboard. although when i went to college, most of my friends use only 2 of their fingers.

I use all ten fingers, as well. Using two fingers is called the hunt and peck method. I used to use that method when I was first learning to type. It takes so long to type anything significant that way! *laugh* I don't know what my words per minute is up to, but I doubt that it has taken me a full minute to type this paragraph. Perhaps it has. I should've timed myself! *laugh*
