Hello katel123, i suggest you to make in one week again a pregnancy test. They are not that accurate in the first week when you miss the period. I had this in may, too with my wife. It was not clear after the time they suggested only the next day it looked like pregnant. But this result doesn't count. We bought then another test from another company which would be better visible display. We tsted not at the same day, but some days later. There must be first enough hormones in your blood to color the test positive. Enjoy your time in myLot!

If it showed negative in the 3 min time then that is the result. You are not supposed to wait and see if it changes. So you are probably not pregnant, but if you are worried, you are supposed to use a pregnancy test early in the morning, the first time you use the bathroom in the morning. This is when your hormones are at there highest, and the best time of day you will get a correct reading.

It's important to read the instructions very carefully when using a home pregnancy test. Here is a quote from a First Response test, as an example, in regards to obtaining a result: Q: Will the result change if left standing for a certain period of time? A: The test result should be read as soon as possible after waiting the 3 minutes. A positive result will last for at least 48 hours. A negative result should not be read after 10 minutes. What you can infer here is that, if left standing, a negative result might appear changed if you leave the test and look at it after the specified amount of time... in this case, 3 minutes. So your test, being left overnight, definitely qualifies here. As others have suggested (and as the pregnancy test instructions often tell you), if you don't start your period in one week from the date you took the test, you should probably test again. Good luck! :)

I haven't had it happen to me but I have heard about this happening to others. It is not an indication that you are pregnant. It is just a chemical reaction based on time. Of course to be on the safe side you should maybe have another test. Best of luck to you and welcome to myLot

I actually had a friend that took a pregnancy test and showed up negative well she put it up so her mom couldn't find it. Well a few days later she found it and a faint line showed it was positive. She went to get another it came up positive and went to doctor and he confirmed it, but shortly after she miscarried.
