Whenever I cook my spaghetti I always set the timer for exactly 10 minutes. They are perfect every time.

personally I never time them. I find that different brands take different times, so I rely on my mouth. When i think they are about done, I pull one out and eat it.

Hi jess, I am not a good cook and I am very dependent with instructions! LOL! So, whenever I am cooking noodles, I always let it boil for 8-10 minutes and it's always perfect for me!

I actually never time mine. I just pull one out and see if it is done. I also use thin spaghetti most of the time or angel hair pasta. I don't really like how thick regular spaghetti noodles are.

Well, different brand have different instructions. Usually I read the instructions and follow them. Of course, aside from that, I check it by tasting whether it cook already. I think that best gauge would be is our mouth!

I would say anywhere from 8-10 minutes. I put the water in a big pot, wait untill the water boils, add the spaghetti noodles (stirring it occasionally) and boiling it for 8-10 minutes.

I have never actually timed them. When they get a little puffy I go ahead and drain them. There are directions on the box, but I am a man. Instructions? I don't need no stinking instructions!
