Should prisoners get heath benefits,while childrenget very little?

I need to know who is more inportant, because some of these people in jail are child molesters,murders,drug dealers,abusers, rapers so why do they deserve 8 billion dollars? http://www.kcra.com/politics/18535098/detail.html Is it not bad enough that tax payers have to pay for them to be in jail? Not only do they get the best medical they also get the best schooling, when they are closing schools left and right in California. So I need to know who is our future or should I say what does our future hold for our children?

I don't think that is fair at all. I know they need to be cared for but alot of honest people like my family, cannot even afford it and have to do without it.
