(Jan. 22) -- John Travolta is allegedly being extorted for "millions of dollars" by a pair of men who reportedly are threatening to release a photo of a dying Jett Travolta unless the actor pays up. Britain's Daily Mail reports that once the extortionists made their demands clear, Travolta contacted his lawyers, who then flew to the Bahamas to meet with the culprits. The Daily Mail cites local media as reporting that two men -- a local Bahamian politician and an ambulance worker -- were being questioned about the incident. http://www.popeater.com/movies/article/alleged-travolta-extortion-plot-over-pic/314349?icid=200100397x1217622933x1201089418 This is terrible, have you seen this and what are your thoughts about it?

Thats so true. People just dont understand how terrible that would be. It would drive me nuts having to go through that, and I complain about the telemarketers...what if you had to deal with cameras all the time... makes our complaints seem small. I wouldnt want the lifestyle not for any amoun money....ugh

The whole story is sad. I hate the way the photographers stocks these people. I listened to an interview Oprah did on Brad Pitt and who his co-star of "the curious life of Benjamin button" Oprah asked them what would they do if they could have one day of freedom without all the media? Brad Pit said he would take the walls down of his house and let his kids play in the yard with the other kids play in their front yard. I guess we take these things for granted.

How cruel and heartless. Once against mankind proves to me I am not wrong in prefering animals to many human beings.

This is the first I have heard of this. How sad! It is the lowest form of human being that would be such an opportunist at a time like that! Can you imagine dealing with something like that while grieving the loss of a child????????

Yes, that IS terrible. They're already going through tough times grieving over their son, but why do others have to make a profit out of the entire thing? How low can YOU go, America?

Disgusting what some people will do to make a dollar. I hope those people, if found guilty, are punished to the full extent of the law!

I have not heard about this happening and I find it very disturbing and sad. How can anyone take advantage of another person like that, especially under those circumstances. I sure hope those involved get what's coming to them and I don't mean John Travolta's money.

No, this is also my first time hearing this as well. I hope that they do not get away with this. It is sad when you try to make money at someone elses expense. I'm hoping that they will be banned from releasing the photos.

That is horrible that they would do that to him right after losing his son. They must not have any kind of heart at all. To do that to anyone is down right cold and they deserve to be punished in any way possible. I hope for Travolta's sake that this matter is resolved quickly and he is left to grieve in privacy without so many people bothering him. Doesn't the press no what it is like to lose someone close to them? If they do than they should all just leave him be.

Your right, they should have respect and leave him alone. I hope these are never published and there will not be anymore incidents.
